At Chiropractic Associates of Westlake we use the Anatomotor by Hill Laboratories for true non-surgical spinal decompression. This treatment uses time tested equipment to “decompress” or relieve nerve compression associated with low back pain. This process has been proven to relieve pain by enlarging the vertebral foraminal space, reducing the protruding bulging disc material and strengthening the outer ligaments. The doctor sets up the Anatomotor to localize the treatment to the specific troubled segment of the lumbar spine. While this treatment has been very successful in treating certain conditions in our patients, not everyone is a candidate.
